URGENT ACTION ALERT

May 9,2022

Mass Alien Amnesty Impending via Title 42 Scam, but NO Worker Shortage

With Title 42 set to Expire later this month the THREAT of a multimillion Alien Amnesty, plus virtually uncapped Legal Immigration grows ever nearer and COULD PASS ANY DAY -- HELP STOP IT!

ACTION;  Contact your Members of Congress and insist they Save Title 42 for Health reasons,  HOWEVER,

insist that they NOT use any Bill saving Title 42 as a PRETEXT for enacting an Illegal Alien Amnesty and/or

increasing Legal Immigration in any way  which some Open Borders Reps. plan to do.

In sum, the Open Borders Reps'  "Save Title 42" Effort/Bill is a COVER for Asylum for ALL the Millions of Illegals in the USA plus those incoming,

plus a dramatic increase in legal Immigration

How so:

The New York Times recently reported that President Joe Biden’s decision to end the CDC’s public health order, Title 42, on May 23, 2022 could result in upwards of 18,000 illegal border crossings a day. If this prediction comes true and the administration does nothing to hamper it - the U.S. could be forced to accept and support over 6.5 million illegal aliens per year.

For comparison, in Fiscal Year 2021, when the U.S. saw the largest number of illegal aliens crossing the southern border in history - the surge averaged approximately 6,000 alien encounters per day, nearly one-third of what is projected by the NYT if Title 42 is ended by the Biden Admin.

Title 42  allowed U.S. immigration enforcement officers to immediately expel migrants in order to slow the spread of Covid-19. Title 42 was one of the few Trump Admin. policies President Biden decided to keep during the first year of his administration

Panicked Open Borders Reps. are suddenly  urging the Biden administration to have a plan in place before Title 42 officially ends on May 23. But what, exactly, is their plan?

In fact they are quietly preparing for massive expansions in the number, method, and ease by which illegal and legal migrants can come to and remain in the United  States via a "Save Title 42 Bill".

If you look closely at their quotes, press releases, and letters, one thing is clear: Their “plan” is to process every migrant in the impending wave "smoothly and efficiently"

That is to GIVE ALL ILLEGALS ASYLUM and GREATLY INCREASE LEGAL IMMIGRATION (per CCN's study Legal immigration alone costs Taxpayers a NET $758 Million per Congressional District per year after subtracting taxes Immigrants pay.)

Consider Key provisions in the pending Amnesty bill, plus those pushed by the "Alliance for a New Immigration Consensus" which they want to lard on to the "Save Title 42" Bill:

In addition to the  "New Alien Amnesty Bill Threat--GOP Sponsored!! Help stop it!" about which CCN recently warned

Another Threat NOW looms via the "Alliance for a New Immigration Consensus " fundamentally a lobbying group for the Cheap Labor Lobby

Last month, The George W. Bush Institute, the Chamber of Commerce and the billionaire Koch brothers’ network of donor class organizations announced they were joining forces with Pro-mass migration groups to form the Alliance for a New Immigration Consensus.

The Alliance issued a statement  announcing plans to lobby the Biden administration and members of Congress to pass AMNESTY for MILLIONS of illegal aliens allegedly to address

the uncertainty that dominates the everyday lives of so many undocumented immigrants seeking to contribute to our economy.”

Millions of workers, many of whom were indispensable to America’s COVID-19 response, are living in legal jeopardy. Apprehensions at the southern border are at historic highs. (MISLEADING--so are "getaways" at Historic Highs--Ed) Employers are also struggling to find workers to fill jobs in many industries,” the group cautioned.  "We must...

."strengthen border security; create a pathway to citizenship for Dreamers, who came to the United States as children; and ensure a legal, reliable workforce for America’s farmers and ranchers.

Accordingly, we call on Congress to address the growing concerns from the American public and enact solutions this year that address the following:

·         The uncertainty that dominates the everyday lives of so many undocumented immigrants seeking to contribute to our economy;

·         The concern with the security vulnerabilities at our border and the need to strengthen the United States’ ability to manage the border in a secure, orderly, and humane manner; and

·         The workforce limitations in our agricultural sector that are currently contributing to supply chain disruption and raising cost concerns.

Modernizing (sic) our immigration system is a step toward alleviating many concerns that are weighing heavily on the minds of American citizens today. Americans are concerned about the ongoing economic recovery "  Alliance Statement

Most unfortunately this very well funded Alliance just increases the pressure to pass the New Alien Amnesty Bill--GOP Sponsored

which is in most respects just as bad or worse as the earlier Mega-Amnesty, by including a few crumbs with which they hope to satisfy the restrictionists

Unfortunately, therefore, this "bipartisan" Alien Amnesty Bill with the support of the Alliance has a greater chance of being enacted into law!! Help us stop it!!

Consider the details of the New Alien Amnesty Bill:

Recently Congresswoman Maria Elvira Salazar (R-Fla.) introduced the Bill( The Dignity Act H.R.6637) alongside six Republican colleagues that provides amnesty for millions of illegal aliens in exchange for a few border security and immigration enforcement crumbs.

Rep. John Curtis (R-UT) says that Bill that gives amnesty to illegal aliens and expands pipelines for foreign visa workers will be a boost for business.“The Dignity Act” provides green cards to the nation’s (over 22 million) illegals while expanding visa programs to more readily outsource American jobs.

Curtis is co-sponsoring the bill alongside Reps. Dan Newhouse (R-WA), Pete Sessions (R-TX), Jenniffer Gonzalez-Colon (R-PR), Tom Reed (R-NY), and Peter Meijer (R-MI). --all up for reelection this year!! Predictably The bill is backed by the United States Chamber of Commerce and the Niskanen Center.

“… the Dignity Act balances the need for a secure and working border with compassionate policies that keep families together, ensures employers have access to reliable foreign workers, and welcomes people into our society and communities,” Curtis said in a statement.

Curtis’s donors include mega multinational corporations like Comcast, Alphabet Inc., Berkshire Hathaway, and AT&T, among others, which have a vested financial interest in driving as many foreign nationals to the U.S. as possible.to get the Cheap Labor

The plan’s amnesty provisions allow millions of illegal aliens to immediately secure green cards while millions more are put on a 10-year track to obtain green cards while holding work permits.

Also included, are expansions of the H-2A and H-2B visa programs that deliver tens of thousands of foreign workers to U.S. farms and seasonal employers every year. With the H-2B visa, the plan exempts returning foreign workers from the annual cap, while the H-2A visa provisions will make hiring foreign farmworkers easier

Key Open Borders Provisions & others in The Dignity Act

First, it creates a legal pathway to citizenship for “Dreamers,” AKA AMNESTY defined under the terms of the American Dream and Promise Act .and also includes provisions from the Farm Workforce Modernization Act (H.R. 1603) (both bills introduced earlier), which legalizes millions of illegal alien farmworkers and reduces protections for American workers in the already-unlimited H-2A visa program!!!.

Rep. Salazar attempts a linguistic sweetner title for her proposed “Dignity Program” and “Redemption Program.” The Dignity Program creates a 10 year period in which illegal aliens not covered by the H.R. 6 or H.R. 1603 provisions receive work permits and protection from deportation so long as they do not commit crimes and pay $1,000 every year into an “American worker fund.” This fund will, per the release, “provide grants to American citizens for workforce education initiatives, apprentice programs, and Career and Technical Education-- a sop to the restrictionists.”

However The optional Redemption Program also gives illegal aliens the opportunity to earn a green card through 5 years of English and civics education as well as further restitution payments.

Another outrageous provision , is the expansion of the H-2B guestworker program via the inclusion of the H-2B Returning Worker Exemption Act

The H-2B guestworker program allows hiring millions of  foreign workers at lower-than-average wages, providing employers with an incentive to avoid hiring Americans.

But the Dignity Act includes Mandatory E-Verify--one positive sop for restrictionists

Mandatory E-Verify  would be implemented through the use of the Legal Workforce Act first proposed by Rep. Ken Calvert (R-Calif.). The bill phases employers into the program in stages, depending on the size of their company, and must re-verify existing employees if they did not have E-Verify in place already:

However, agricultural employers – responsible for hiring a large number of illegal aliens – have 2.5 years to enroll their employees in E-Verify! a requirement likely to be extended.

Border Wall Construction and Investment--another good provision  BUT would the Biden Administration implement it if passed??!!

The bill calls for restarting border wall contracts that the Biden administration ended when President Biden entered office. It also proposes implementing other border technologies, specifying “radar, cameras, infrared, secure communications, and autonomous detection technology.” The legislation also provides the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) with the ability to hire 3,000 additional border agents and personnel.

The Bill also authorizes "Asylum Processing Centers"-- a Delusion which would not help stem the flow

The bill would establish four regional processing centers to house aliens claiming asylum. Salazar claims that this would end catch-and-release policies while cases work their way through the immigration court system.

but it addresses a symptom of the problem rather than the cause itself. Holding aliens in detention during their immigration proceedings would stop catch-and-release, but only if you can hold all asylum claimants. Given the state of the border crisis, this is almost impossible. Since Joe Biden became president in January 2021, Border Patrol apprehended over 2 million illegal aliens at the border. The vast majority claimed asylum.

Are four processing centers going to house 2 million aliens at once? This is just for a single year. Detention centers could not possibly house all of the people who travel to the U.S. to claim asylum. Detaining aliens would lead to downstream effects on human trafficking, and numbers could lessen, but the point remains the same – there are too many people making fraudulent claims. Without an enormous increase in immigration judges, those cases will further add to the growing backlog, increasing detention time. The bill includes adding 150 immigration judge teams and 300 asylum officers. The impact of that would still not be enough to meaningfully reduce backlogs, given current trends.

This is not a realistic way to end the border crisis. The cause of the crisis is our asylum laws, not a lack of detention space.--asylum will continue to be a major loophole for determined illegal aliens, including drug smugglers,(think Fentanyl) and human traffickers, and violent gang members unless we adopt an all-categories-included zero-NET MORATORIUM on Legal Immigration..

Conclusion

Rep. Salazar’s bill when grafted onto the "Save Title 42 bill"  is basically mainly a con-job that provides open borders cheap labor Republicans plus leftist Democrats and Alliance members a Mass Amnesty bill which they enact any time this year UNLESS WE STOP THEM.

So please help CCN  STOP the CON Job

And when opposing this CON Job emphasize the NEGATIVE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS;

--With 200,000 Illegals flooding monthly across the Border already, a Mass Amnesty would increase

---- the amount of Fentanyl deaths in the USA, already at record levels

---- increase the child Trafficking

---- increase the number of Covid infected in the USA

---- increase the power of The Cartels operating in the USA!

---- increase the number of Gang members (e.g. MS13) operating in the USA

---- INCREASE THE NUMBER OF COUNTIES ALREADY DRINKING TOILET TO TAP WATER!

(TWO IN CALIFORNIA ALREADY!)

---- In sum the sheer increase in numbers would increase the water shortages (population longages!!)

in California and the South and Midwest

--- And remember that for every person added to the U.S, population one acre farmland or Habitat (for the Critters) is lost to developed uses -- Habitat loss has been responsible for the extinction of several Butterfly and other species in the USA.

Conclusion Rep. Salazar’s Mass Alien Amnesty bill is basically mainly a con-job that open borders cheap labor Republicans plus leftist Democrats can enact any time this year UNLESS WE STOP THEM.

So please help CCN stop The largest Illegal Alien Amnesty in U.S. History and end MASS legal immigration!

URGENT:Contact your U.S. Representatives and Senators repeatedly and urge them to oppose any Bill which contains ANY Amnesty Bill provisions or provisions increasing Legal Immigration whatsoever...Insist they support an all-categories included zero-net MORATORIUM on Legal Immigration (which would still allow 150,000 settlers annually) plus a stand-alone Save Title 42 Provision

CCN can thereby Intensify its Mobilization of its Activists all over the USA to oppose this bill! CCN'S Activists like you give us Clout!

Also note that CCN is pro-Legal Immigrants but anti-Mass Immigration!

And Most Important to Note:

ONLY pushing CCN's all-categories-included zero Net MORATORIUM on Legal Immigration  MAXIMIZES the chances of stopping this Horrendous Amnesty Bill.

Pushing any less restrictive number, as the two National Mass Immigration Management Groups do, will likely result in a Compromise Bill reducing the numbers by just a few hundred thousand at most..... a totally unacceptable result.

Indeed, since those two National Mass Immigration Management groups refuse to support any Moratorium Bill (like Rep. Gosar's e.g.)

THEY ARE DE FACTO ENABLERS OF CONTINUING MASS IMMIGRATION!!

NO Worker Shortage Exists:  Mass Alien Amnesty Threat Intensifies

"May 2022 Employment and Unemployment Numbers Showed No Shortage of
Domestic U.S. Labor, but Rather a Plethora of Undercounted Unemployed Americans

Headline U.S. Unemployment Does Not Count Long-Term Discouraged Workers,
Those Who Have Given Up Looking for Work, Because There Were No Jobs to Be Had

May 2022 Payrolls Held Shy by 1.2 Million of Recovering the Pre-Pandemic Peak Levels of February 2020, and Shy by 6.4 Million of Where Payrolls Would Be in Normal Times"

-          shadowstats.com   May,2022

"Last week the federal government unilaterally extended temporary work authorization to hundreds of thousands of Aliens currently in the country with a work permit. The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) granted an automatic 540-day extension of all work authorizations to eligible foreign nationals in the U.S.

The new 540-day extension is a massive expansion of the standard 180-day extension last offered to foreign nationals by USCIS in November of last year.

According to the administration, the work permit extension is just part of an effort to ease USCIS backlogs and save time. But in reality, the vast extension is just another effort by the Biden Administration to welcome and employ as many foreign nationals as possible despite the national interest or American workers interests..

In March 2022, USCIS reported an employment authorization backlog of approximately 740,000 applications."

Despite the 986,000 immigrants reported as unemployed in March, the foreign-born working-age population expanded by some 1.4 million, Y-O-Y, for the seventh straight month. Thus the growth in the immigrant workforce population far exceeded the job growth recorded by either the Payroll Survey (431,000) or the Household Survey (736,000)  USCIS May, 2022

From March 2021 to March 2022:

·         Immigrant employment rose by 2.286 million, an eye-popping 8.8% gain, while native-born American employment rose by 5.326 million, a 4.3% gain. ADVANTAGE IMMIGRANTS

·         The immigrant adult population rose by 1.397 million, a gain of 3.10%, Y-O-Y, while the corresponding native-born American population increased 1.044 million—a 0.48% rise. ADVANTAGE IMMIGRANTS

·         The immigrant labor force (people working or looking for work) grew by 4.98%, more than twice the 1.88% gain in the native-born labor force. ADVANTAGE IMMIGRANTS

·         The data  are from a survey of households which includes self-employed workers, agricultural workers, and private family workers, who are excluded from the more widely cited Payroll Survey. Also overlooked, we contend, are illegal immigrants working “off the books” in large corporations.

·         Labor Force Participation Rates rose for both native-born Americans and immigrants, but the 1.1 % point (or 1.71%) gain for immigrants was larger than the corresponding gains for native-born workers. ADVANTAGE IMMIGRANTS

·         Unemployment rates for native-born workers fell by 2.2 percentage points, or 36.7%, while immigrant unemployment rates fell by 3.4 points, or 60.0%. ADVANTAGE IMMIGRANTS

·         5.691 million native-born, and 1.092 million immigrants, were unemployed
in February; over the past 12 months the number of unemployed immigrants fell by 47.6%, while native-born jobless declined by 35.4
%. ADVANTAGE IMMIGRANTS

The big picture: The U.S. economy still has roughly 1.6 million fewer jobs than before the mass layoffs that began in February 2020.

And that’s before the possible recession that even the Regime Media is beginning to fear [The U.S. economy shrank last quarter. Is a recession next?, by Aimee Picchi, CBS, May 3, 2022,  vDare.com

"Immigration Is No Fix for Inflation

Analysis shows cutting wages by increasing foreign workers
wouldn't significantly reduce prices and would harm the poor

Washington, D.C. (May 4, 2022) – The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and other lobbying groups have called for increases in immigration to reduce wages and control inflation. A new analysis by the Center for Immigration Studies estimates that even substantially reducing wages for all less-educated workers, or in the occupations where they are concentrated, would have a negligible impact on consumer prices because such workers account for only a modest share of the GDP.

It is simply not possible to control inflation by reducing the wages of the less-educated because such workers earn so little to begin with,” said the report’s lead author, CIS Director of Research Steven Camarota. “Bringing in more foreign workers to lower the wages of workers who don’t earn much in the first place also seems grossly unfair.”
